Project Life/365 - Week One

Hi there,

I've decided to make the leap and do Project Life this year. The way I see it, there is no better year to start than this year, a year of big changes for my hubby & I.

So, here is my first week in pictures.

PL Day 1 - This is my project life - 2013

This is my "title" page for Project Life as I didn't actually take this picture on January 1st. I did work on it in Photoshop that day though :)

PL Day 2 - "I'm innocent!"

This picture is of my Polydactyl princess, Addy, right after she used her big paws to drop the "awful" nail clippers down the drain! We did manage to get them out using a magnet tied to a piece of string (phew!).

PL Day 3 - Preggo Kelly

This is me at 28 weeks, 2 days pregnant. Third trimester already, YIKES!!! I guess I better start getting things organized - I've yet to register at the hospital, choose a crib or car seat or paint the baby's room. We better get crackin'!!

PL Day 4 - "Summer Fun" Ride

This is our new-to-us "summer fun" ride. We drove it today to get it licensed but will be parking it for the winter.

PL Day 5 - Baby Snuggles

My BFF Sam had her baby boy on New Year's eve but we had yet to meet him. Today we visited with Sam and met baby Tennysen. He's such a cutie, only really cried when Sam changed him and mostly just slept and looked cute. It was great to finally meet him - I guess Jason & I are up next :)

PL Day 6 - Groceries!

I went grocery shopping today while Jason shovelled the driveway (I so got the better deal!). I hit 3 stores, picking up all the sale items and now we're set for the next week or so. It feels so good to have a full fridge and full cupboards again.

PL Day 7 - ENGL 377R

So, I signed up for a course this term, a follow-up to the Grammar course I took last winter. I'm not entirely sure it's a great idea (see PL Day 3 and all of the things we still need to do to get ready for the baby) but I am going to go to both lectures this week and decide. I really like the prof for the course and this is the last time she will be teaching it, which only makes the decision to drop it more difficult.

So there you go, a peek into my life so far in 2013.

Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!

Kelly :)

  1. You look ADORABLE!!!!! I loveeeeeeeee your photos for PL!!! And your friends baby was big!! I thought Adam at 8 lbs 6 oz was a big boy! LOL!!!

    1. Thanks!! And my bff can keep the big babies all to herself - no 10 pounders for me please!!

  2. My goodness Kelly you're going to be busy, great start though, keep up the good work. :-)

    1. Thanks Sandra! And yes, busy indeed. That's the only way to be, right?

  3. You do have a lot happening...and you look lovely at 28 weeks. Is it your first baby?

    1. Hi Lynette! Yes, this is our first baby. I'm starting to get a little nervous now :)

  4. Hi Kelly, You have done great to document the month so far. Congratulations on your upcoming new member to your family, and all the other fun things you chronicled! Thanks, too, for taking the time to pop by my blog during the TSF blog hop. Are you thinking about a word for 2013? Thanks, again!
