I'm back with our second challenge for the Paper Mixing Bowl. This challenge this month is Hot Cross Buns so the colour white should feature prominently.
Here is the challenge:
And here is what I came up with:
I used a white background and added touches of black and red (I LOVE this colour combo!). I scrapped another wedding photo as we were to scrap a new beginning or adventure. My journalling is on a circle which meets another requirement - journalling on a shape.
I used all of the elements - chipboard (the heart, covered in paper and the little hearts coloured with my copics), stitching (faux stitching on the cirle journal and on the red border punch at the bottom), corner/edge punch (on the black and white mat and on the red punched piece), black and white doilies, stickles (on the large chipboard heart)and oval elements (kiss is on a double oval). It's surprising all of the elements I used on a layout with a fair amount of white space.
We hope you will be inspired to play along with us this month. Watch for another guest designer soon too!
Thanks for peekin'!
